Rules & Regulations
It is the intention of club management to preserve the freedom and maximize the enjoyment of members/guests and their friends/families in their use of the golf course, driving range and other golf-related facilities at KN Golf Links. However, so that we can properly care for and maintain these facilities, and provide an experience that is safe, convenient and world-class, we ask that the following rules and regulations be observed at all times
Control of Play
The use of and play on the Club's golf course and practice range shall, at all times, be subject to the control of the Club's Director of Golf and his designated assistants. However, the Golf Course Superintendent, in consultation with the Director of Golf, shall determine when the weather or other conditions dictate the closing of the course or the prohibition of or the imposition of limitations upon the use of golf carts.
Registration and Start of Play
All members/guests must register with the Club at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to beginning play. Players "making the turn" from the No. 9 hole and the No. 10 hole shall have priority over players making an authorized start on the No. 10 tee.
Attire
All players must be appropriately attired on the golf course and practice range at all times. Men must wear shirts with collars or currently acceptable golf fashion, at all times. Tee shirts, short shorts, swimming, and tennis attire are not considered appropriate attire for golf and, accordingly, are not permitted. Knee length bermuda or walking shorts are permitted.
Equipment
All players must have a golf bag, a set of golf clubs and wear appropriate spikeless golf shoes when on the golf course. Two (2) or more players may not play out of the same bag or otherwise, with a single set of clubs. Street, tennis, running, or similar shoes, other than golf shoes, shall not be worn on the golf course, whether by players or non-players in the company of players.
Caddies
KN Golf Links employs a caddie only policy, meaning all players must use one of our club trained caddies (Tariff included with in the green fee rates).
Golf Carts
The following rules and regulations shall govern the use of golf carts on the golf course and elsewhere on Club premises:
Only persons over seventeen (17) years of age and holding a valid driver's license or a "Club Cart Operator's License" may operate a golf cart on Club premises and property at any time. A "Club Cart Operator's License" may only be granted to a person by the Golf Director or Golf Professional, where:
a. the person is at least thirteen years of age ;b. the parent or legal guardian of the person (if the person is younger than eighteen (18) year of age) has granted, in writing, his or her permission for the issuance of a "Club Cart Operator's License" to the person, and an indemnity to the Owner, Club Management, the Golf Director and Golf Professional, from an against all liabilities incidental to the obtaining of the "Club Cart Operator's License" and its use, and in the Golf Director's or Golf Professional's reasonable opinion, the person is a suitable person to hold a "Golf Cart Operator's License",
